Seeking inspiration ..

Seriously lacking inspiration, I decided to take a walk on the jogging track of my apartment. This is what I found there..a couple of withered blue electric boxes with very interesting color & texture ....and a creeper plant.

All the drawings are done with regular black gel pen and color pencils...

Magical Sunflower !!



 This pretty Sunflower..stands tall, facing the Sun all day long with its every little petal craving for Sun's attention. Other than having a striking resemblance with the blazing Sun, this lovely flower too has an ability to  cheer you up !

Visit a sunflower farm if you can ..and watch an entire army of sunflowers moving with the Sun . Its truly magical !!

It was quite challenging to draw a sunflower with color pencils..this is my third attempt. I guess I could have done a little better..

Palash Flowers & the month of March.....

This is how I remember the Month of March .....


 Running around a tree to catch the falling dry leaves      ......counting down the approaching summer holidays       ...Mug..mug..FULL ON rattabazi for exams.....        "High..High..Low" rhythemic tweets of a hidden mystery bird ....Sun kissed oranges & cool watermelons ......Joy of finishing an exam paper ........Sun dried pickles & potato chips on the terrace   ........and picking up a bag full of Palash flowers for delicious Holi colors !!
